A 600 ft high crag overlooking the Mont Blanc. Ladder rungs, cable bridges and a wicked feel of height !

You are tied to a security cable that runs from tip to top of the crag in addition to a rope with which your guide belays you. It is the most secured alpine activity and a magical way to reach breathtaking heights.

For sporty, but non experienced people. Most of the climb happens on an 80° wall with some comfortable ledges and seldom vertical sections. The arm effort is the same as climbing on a ladder.

The toughest is in your head... While the first third allows us to quickly reach back the ground by abseilling, the only exit then is the top...

Minimum age : 12 and a minimum 5 ft height. Most of all a personal will (and not only parents or friends) to take part to the trip is necessary.

From Chamonix, Take n°21 exit toward Passy. Follow Passy, then drive up to Plateau d’Assy (15 mn). At the entrance of Plateau d’Assy village, take the first left following the via ferrata wood sign. 100 m further, the via ferrata car park is on your left.

Is it difficult ?

Physically, the Via de Curalla is not very demanding. The half-hour approach walk is actually harder than the climb itself. The difficulty is linked to the apprehension of the heights. You quickly gain height and despite many steps and small terraces, the void is omnipresent.
